Dies ist mal die Rohfassung. Ich bitte noch um formale Änderungen, neue Fragen und so weiter.... Welche Fragen sollten wir streichen?

Dear Butch,
How are you?
When we received the message that you would agree to answer a few questions from us, we were blown away. We just thought, wow phenomenal, now we can speak to a true hero of our most beloved band, the EELS.
We didn’t intend to be rude by asking you too many questions and also thought about not asking too much stuff about the EELS, since you’re not a constant member anymore. But we are so much in love with this band, we just had to ask these questions.
Anyway, we hope you, too enjoy dealing with our questions:
1. What was your first experience with music and why did you want to become a musician?
2. Can you be seen in Europe in the near future?
3. Which CD is playing on your hi-fi system right now? Which bands and records are your all time favourite?
4. Have you ever thought of releasing a solo album where you sing an ingenious version of “Sad Clown”?
5. What other artists are you working with or are you going to work with?
6. What is appealing to you in working with different artists rather than being in a band right now?
7. In your biography on the black swamp page it is being mentioned that at the beginning of your career your focus was World Music and percussion. Are you still working in this field? These days you seem to be mostly working as a drummer (at least that’s the impression we get over here). In case you’re still active in this field: with which World Music artists are you collaborating? What album should we buy? ;o)
8. Are you still friends with Joey Waronker?
9. Tell us about the craziest thing you've ever experienced since you're in the music biz!
10. How did you meet E?
11. What was your split in 2003 all about?
12. Do you miss anything from your time with the EELS? The concerts, your celebrity, the relationship with E and other band members, etc. . .?
13. E cherishes his image as a Lone Wolf. But we fans always felt that you were the heart and soul of the company otherwise known as "the eels". How would you define your role in the band?
14. Can you also tell us something about the process of recording the songs? Have you been altering the songs in the studio or have they been ready to record from the start? Did the band record the songs together?
15. How have things been at the beginning of the band back in the 90’s in terms of the song writing? Or was it more or less a one-man band right from the start?
16. We really love your remix of “Mr. E’s Beautiful Blues”. Did you also remix other Eels songs?
17. Are there any masterpieces of the Eels where you sing, which have not been released?
18. There’ve been rumors floating around concerning several tracks which haven’t been released such as “Tea with Hitler”, “Fuckin’ in the Graveyard”, etc. Do they exist? And what can you tell us about “Trashing The Cathedral”?
19. What do you think of the new EELS record and the strings tour?
20. On which tracks of “Blinking Lights & Other Revelations” have you actually participated?
21. Do/Did you and E follow what is/was going on in the Internet forums and communities?
22. Are there plans to work with E again? How is your current relationship with him?
23. Finally we want to know if there are any plans of you working with MC Honky, to kick the EELS from the pinnacle of rock?
24. Our last request: Would it be possible to attach a photo of you posing in front of your PC with the eelsfan.de site on the screen? We know that this is kind of weird, but hey, to be honest: We want to brag about this interview!
To wrap things up, we want to add that we really miss you at the EELS and hope that you and E find together again some time. We wish you all the best and want to thank you again for this great opportunity.
Friends of Eelsfan.de
